Here are some screen shots of the process I went through to create my chapter pages...
- First I pasted my Aztec pattern into a new document and gave the background a specific colour.
- I then gave the patterned layer an overlay in a lighter colour, and changed the opacity of the layer to around 55% so it was very subtle.
- After that I added in my own text and chose the typeface "Simon Script," which I downloaded from www.dafont.com.
- Finally I placed an illustration at the bottom that relates to the story within the book. Most of the images that I am putting on the chapter pages will be selected from my front covers to show a relation.
