Today I began to create some initial illustration ideas for my book covers. Here is step-by-step screenshots I've taken whilst drawing my eyes for Rapunzel. I began by creating a basic outline for the eye, then added the pupil. Next I drew in some eyelashes, gave the eye some watercolour tones around the outside and finally an eyebrow.
