Recently, I visited my local library and took out these two books. I chose these to help me decide what I should design for my illustrations, although the pictures aren't to my liking, they can still give me a rough idea of what to include (e.g. relative backgrounds, objects and colours).
Although 'The Secret World of the Flower Fairies' isn't a book about fairy tales, it's got some pretty interesting images in it, that will help me design my character for Thumbelina.
